Another Night on the Hill

I walked around the neighborhood Sunday night and grabbed a few photos. These will be familiar sites for anyone following this blog, but I think it’s ok to take multiple photos of the same places. Sometimes you’ll see different things.

These photos are of 3 well known Hill locations: Lost Lake, Big Mario’s, and Cafe Pettirosso. I’ve included 2 shots of each. Perhaps a different angle, a different crop, different exposure, or a different color choice.

  1. I’ve always liked the Lost Lake sign and for me the strand of lights looks neat in the b/w. This winter, one of my goals for photography is more night stuff, particularly after a good rain. It’s one of my favorite times to shoot. Just not while it’s actually raining!

    • I agree with all of the above. Lights and colors take on a different character during and after a rain. Heck, even before, in those “it smells and feels like rain” moments. That Lost Lake sign is great. So is the Comet Tavern sign.
